BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. I can not tell you how much this retails for because it was a hand me down from my aunt. She was the first to purchase it and did not like it at all so she gave it to me to try and review. I can not agree with my aunt any more. This mascara is horrible. I like mascaras that are more formulated to be a wet application, this mascara is formulated to be dry. It makes your lashes clump together, it flakes off all day. Overall it is a very cheap quality. Most drug store mascaras are better in my opinion than higher-end mascaras, but this one is the definition of what a "drug store" mascara is thought of. DON'T waste your money on this stuff. It has cheep packaging and i very shinny which some might like but I do not. Another thing that bugs me is that L'oreal does not post their name on the packing of the tube. I know kind of a weird thing but what can I say I'm OCD.
You might be able to tell just by how the mascara is clumped at the end of the wand how dry this mascara is.

Maybelline Dream Nude Foam: review and swatches!
The Maybelline Dream Nude Airfoam is a newly(ish) released product foundation. Well this post will be short and sweet because to put it simply I HATE it. It retails for $9.00 at Target(pretty pricy), and I will warn you to not waste your money on this product. I saw a YouTube review on it a while ago and figured why not give it a try they had good things to say about it. It is simple to use; just shake and push then boom you have a clowed of foamy foundation. BUT the coverage is hardly there. It has lighter coverage than a tinted moisturizer, and for someone like myself who likes full coverage it sucks. The color is also way off. I got it in the color Classic Ivory which is the second to lightest shade they sell and it is WAY to orange for my skin tone.
As you can see from the white line over to the left is where I started to blend it out; and from the white like to the right is my skin town. Does not match at all. Just makes me look like I have been spending too much time in a tanning bed. It also dries funny. Leaving a sticky dirty feeling on my face. YUCK!
I will say that the one thing that I do like about it is the smell. It has SPF 16 sunscreen in it and I love the smell of sunscreen. Just smelling this foundation makes me want summer so much more.
Overall it is a pretty cool idea for a product, and it definitely sold me when I first heard of it. A foundation that foams! So cool. But for the price and quality I was not impressed, just let down. Has anyone else had better luck with the foundation? I know Revlon makes a foaming foundation, is that one any better?
P.S. there will be a post soon on my nails! stay tuned. :)

24 hour cupcake ATM?!
Is it too good to be true? A 24 hour cupcake ATM! I am so ready for one of these to be placed in my bed room. Sprinkles Cupcakes (which if you don't know is a lush bakery that started out of California, and is a favorite of many celebs) are going to be opening up a 24 hour ATM outside their bakery located in posh Beverly Hills. Unfortunately I live in the mid-west and although I would like to, but I am not planning a trip to the beautiful beaches of Cali anytime in the near future; there for I will not be able to taste one of these master pieces.
Link to where I found this picture
Now if the cupcake ATM was not enough, they will even be serving cupcakes for dogs! Holy cow I need to move out there asap. I myself an a true die hard animal lover and would without a doubt buy my doggies (when I get one) a cupcake from the ATM.
To rap things up, cupcake ATM = best idea I have heard of in a long time, and I am very jealous of everyone in Believer Hills who gets to experience the worlds first cupcake ATM. Hopefully they will make their way to the east coast soon! :) Would you buy a cupcake from the ATM?

I have a bit of a confession..I like video games
Picture found here: assassins-creed-3-american-revolution
So I was never a real big video game type of gal until about 14 and a half months ago when I met my wonderful and video game obsessed boyfriend. I'm not very into the sci-fi type of games, ex: games with scary and creepy aliens that have guys build into their backs and can grow a new head if the other one is shot off, but I do really like the war, bloody kind of games. I know I was shocked to find myself intrigued by them as well.
One game that I am super duper excited for is American Revolution Assassin's Creed. If you have absolutely no idea what I am talking about, it's okay I was in your same boat a little over a year ago, but you will pick up on it quickly. Here is a quick rundown that I found on Wiki (I'll attack the sight if so you can read in more detail of you wish)..
Assassin's Creed is an award winning historical fiction action-adventure open world stealth video game series that as of 2012 consists of five main games and a number of supporting materials.
If you would like to learn more about the story line here a sight that explains it in great detail, I would have written one myself but it is so long and I'm sure not everyone would really care about it, so to make things a better for all it saves me some hand cramps and save all of you who think video games are for the devil a lot of time.. here ya go
The history! Its pretty cool you should read it
So the graphics for this are so realistic that when I was watching a trailer for it, it was actually very hard to tell that it was in fact a video game! I myself am a huge history nerd so the fact that this is based on the American Revelation and you play as a Native American is what instantly sold me on this game! One of the countries founding fathers, Mr. George Washington, also plays a roll in this game, which also gave me a little push to want it even more. The game sold me so quickly that my boyfriend and I are actually going tomorrow to pre-order the game! It will be released on October 30 of this year!
Here is the trailer:

So let me know if you guys like video gamey posts and would like me to do more. They are kind of fun, although a per warning. I am here by stating that although I like to think that I am good and video games and know a lot about them, I Ashley am video game stupid and can only give you the knowledge that I know! :)

NEW! OPI Spiderman collection
I just found this out literally two minutes ago and I was so excited that I just had to post it on here right away! It is a Spiderman OPI nail polish collection!
picture found on this website: http://www.internet-d.com/2012/03/01/opi-spider-man-collection/opi-spiderman/
I have a soft spot for super hero's, although Iron man would have to be one of my top favorite movies of all time, so when I spotted this new collection I almost jumped out of my seat.
I am personally the most excited to check out the Just Spotted the Lizard color. I think that it will be one of those colors that is a you either like it or hate it. I tend to be the person who likes what everyone else hates. I would also like to check out into the night, because blue is one of my top three favorite colors, so defiantly pumped for that one.
Check out the name of the white polish. "My Boyfriend Scales Walls" SO CUTE. I am not a white nail polish kind of girl so this one is not on my list, but I just adore the name. "your web or mine" is also a super cute name! :) but I already have so much pink that it would just go to waste.
What color is a must have for you?

and not for the winners! They are in no particular order.

Sonia Kashuk super sheer liquid tint review
Due to the lack or sunshine and blistering winds I have fallen under the spell of the winter blues. So in order for me to ignore the cold I have shut all my blinds, turned on summer time songs, and started to play around with bright colors of makeup. Going threw my collection I came a crossed the Sonia Kashuk super sheer liquid tint; that I had purchased at the end on the summer last year. I have not yet used it because the color is very bright and cheery and was a little out of place for winter. However I not longer care, I want summer, sun, and fun; and what better way to have at least the fun then with a fun pop of color.
I have it in the color "poppy" which is a really pretty coral color. It has a pop of sparkle in it that when blended out is very soft and girly looking. The product overall is good quality and will run you about $10.00 at target, which for me I find to be a bit pricy, but with how long it last is worth it. The tube will last threw out the summer and maybe even into next. The product lasts on skin for a VERY long time (perfect for those with oily skin). I was very surprised by how liquidy the product is. It almost dripped off my hand when I first went to apply it. It does make it super easy to blend out though, and it drys rather quickly. The coverage is like the name of the product says, very sheer. It gives just enough color to the skin that it does not look caked on, but gives off a health, fresh look. It kinda reminds me of the same coverage that you would get with a cheek stain product, even lasting as long as one. Overall even with the little spill mishap I would differently like to try another color out. Has anyone else tried out the Sonia Kashuk super sheer liquid tint?

Lazer cut, paper eyelashes
So I was sitting next to my boyfriend while he was scrolling threw his favorite website when this picture caught my eye.
They are eyelashes that are cut using a lazier, and made out of paper. (I know I know common since if you read the title) They have four different types to choose from: Peach blossom (shown in the picture), peacock, peonies, and under the sea. My main question knowing that they were made out of paper was can they be reused, and the website says they can IF used with caution. That pretty much tells me that for a once time use you are paying 11.99 pounds, (I can not find them in the U.S. if you can please let me know!), to me this seems like kind of a lot, however for a special event like Halloween I might splurge a little a try them out! They are differently an eye catcher and I hope I can get my hands on them soon! If I find a site that sells them in the U.S I will keep everyone updated!
XOXO
The site I found them on:

Where they can be purchased, as linked on the site above:

New hair :)
Guess who went blonde? Me! Something that I have wanted to do for a very long time, but have just never had the confidence to do it. Of course I have had blonde highlights, but this time I wanted a bigger change. I went from very dark brown hair to a bright blonde. The picture that I showed my hair lady (yes that is what I call her and she thinks its funny), was a picture of Scarlett Johansson blonde hair color. Taking into account how dark my hair was, she got it pretty darn close to the right shade of blonde I was looking for. I am so pleased with it and although it is a change to get used to, it is a much needed change. Now to get my hair to stay healthy, that will be the hard part. What do you guys think of the color? Should I lighter or darker?

elf glitter gloss review
So today I took a little trip to target and was presently surprised when I found that a lot of their cosmetics were on sale! Of course being a compulsive shopaholic I had to indulge in a little bargain shopping on one of my favorite items, makeup! Although I did get a couple different things one of the items I was most surprised by would have to be the elf glitter gloss. They usually run for $3.00 but I was lucky enough to get them at the sale price of $2.10. I only picked up two because they were the only two colors that were on sale, here is a quick swatch.
They are in the colors glam guava on the left, and crystal cranberry on the right. Although the glitter does not show on camera well, it does have rather large bits of it in them. Surprisingly however the glitter being large does not run them for me. Typically when lip gloss has large chunks of glitter, it usually turns me off to them because I do not like to feel the glitter when I rub my lips together, but with the elf glitter glosses the glitter is large enough that it gives it a very lovely shine, but small enough that you do not feel the flakes. They are also very vibrant glosses, which for me I love, and the slide on like a charm and stick on threw most of the day. You may have to reapply two or three times but that's it! However they do have a bit of a downside. The smell they give off is not very nice at all. They kind of smell like a childhood favorite, play doh! Which as a kid was amazing, but now that I'm a bit older the smell of play doh on my lips all day is not the coolest thing in the world; It makes it feel cheap to me, which of course even without my super savings of .80 cents the $3.00 price tag is still a steal, so the cheap smell is not a surprise. They can also be a tad sticky, but that part does not bother me as much as the smell. Overall the elf Glitter Gloss is differently a product that I will repurchase in some new shades. If you have tried it, what is your favorite shade in the elf Glitter Gloss? (please excuse my face in these pictures, I am not wearing a drop of makeup except for the lip glosses. Sorry if I scared anyone :) )
